Are you insured and can I trust my cleaning professional?

Yes, we're insured and bonded. We understand that it is a privilege to be in your home, and we are always careful. All our applicants under go a hands-on interview and a background test.

Does someone have to be home?

Whether or not you’re at the space during your cleaning appointment is up to you. When you make a booking, you’ll be prompted to give us entry instructions. If you have a doorman or can hide a key somewhere, there’s no need for you to be home. You can also feel free to stick around during the clean. Whatever you’re most comfortable with is fine.

What happens if something goes wrong during my appointment?

If something goes wrong we’re here to make it right. Please let us know right away and we’ll be there to take care of it. That’s our promise to you! In the unlikely event that an object is damaged, please notify us within 48 hours of when the appointment is completed either by email info@booksimplymaid.com or by phone (630)360-3400.

Is my billing information kept safe and secure?

We have three levels of security in place. First off our booking page is protected by extended validation SSL. Secondly our credit card transactions are processed by stripe and is layered on their own 256 security protocol. In addition, no credit card numbers are stored in our system (only a token that allows us to charge the card). Rest assured we take security very seriously.

What is your 100% clean guarantee policy?

If you’re not content with your cleaning, we will come out and re-clean (within a 7 day window).

What is your refund policy?

If something is not done to your expectations, please let us know. We’ll send a team out to make it right (within a 7 day window). If after our re-clean is completed and you’re still not happy with service, we offer a 100% refund on all services rendered.

Do you service my area?

If you live in the Western Chicago area, absolutely. If you are not sure just shoot us a quick email.

What is included in a standard cleaning?

Standard cleaning takes into account everything that involves cleaning a home or apartment. Cleaning/vacuuming floors, cleaning bathrooms, kitchen, living room, dusting, etc. We do offer extra services like cleaning inside the fridge and inside the oven, and those can be selected on the booking form when you select service.

How much will it cost?

We price based on the number of bedrooms and bathrooms in the home. Select the number and the price is shown instantly on the website.

Do you offer green Cleaning?

Yes we do! Green cleaning is a free upgrade provided at your request. Please select Green cleaning at checkout or let us know when your booking and your cleaning person will bring the correct supplies to your appointment.

Pet friendly?

Yes, we love pets! Just let us know so that we're prepared for your furry friends.

Do you bring your own cleaning supplies, products and equipment?

We bring our own cleaning supplies but please let us know if you have any special requests and we would be happy to accommodate you if possible. Alternatively, we can use green products if you would prefer. Please let us know if you would prefer green cleaning services so we can plan for this.

Can I request special tasks or extras?

Sure thing. You can select extras at checkout. If you have already completed the booking form simply respond to your confirmation email or send us a message and we'll adjust your order.

What is your cancellation policy?

If you need to cancel, please let us know as soon as possible.
